Little French Speakers is looking for an Online French Teacher (part-time) for our online French learning platform designed for 5 to 18 years old kids. The primary role of this person is to create and maintain a safe and welcoming instructional environment that benefits all students and leads to their growth, learning, and success.

Little French Speakers is an online French learning platform for 5 to 18 yo kids to help learn French thanks to a unique methodology designed by Native French Teachers. The main goal of Little French Speakers is to create a fun environment for children to develop the desire to learn. Our classes are Custom 1-on-1 classes with native French-speaking teachers.

Position summary:

This is a flexible, remote online French teaching opportunity.

Little French Speakers is looking for a French teacher to provide a custom one-to-one teaching experience for kids. To be successful in this role, you need to have a strong desire to create a natural and friendly environment where kids can engage, develop self-confidence, and learn while having fun.

This candidate must know how to work independently. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for teaching, and who wants to give insights into the French culture to kids.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a custom one-to-one teaching experience.
  • Teach classes of 25 min or 50 min.
  • To create and manage the courses in a variety of activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives.

About you

  • You are a native French speaker.

  • You have excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.

  • You have a previous teaching experience or teaching assistance experience with kids.

  • You are comfortable with using Zoom and Powerpoint.

  • You can personalize lessons for each student and able to adapt to kid’s needs.

Technical Requirements:

  • Desktop computer, laptop, or a tablet with a webcam.
  • Stable internet connection. You should have a stable Wi-Fi connection or a cable internet connection.
  • It is recommended that teachers use headsets as built-in microphones or speakers do not provide enough quality for smooth communication with students.
