Mila and Her Dog’s Adventure
Mila est une petite fille de huit ans.
Elle a un chien qui s’appelle Trèfle.
Trèfle est très gentil. Il aime jouer, courir et faire des câlins.
Mila adore son chien. Elle lui parle tous les jours.
Ils habitent ensemble dans une petite maison blanche.
La maison est près d’un grand parc avec beaucoup d’arbres.
Tous les matins, Mila et Trèfle regardent par la fenêtre.
Ils sont prêts pour une nouvelle journée pleine de jeux et de rires.
Mila is an eight-year-old girl.
She has a dog named Clover.
Clover is very sweet. He loves to play, run, and cuddle.
Mila loves her dog. She talks to him every day.
They live together in a small white house.
The house is near a big park with lots of trees.
Every morning, Mila and Clover look out the window.
They are ready for a new day full of games and laughter.
Chaque matin, Mila et Trèfle sont au parc.
Ils aiment beaucoup se promener ensemble.
Mila lance une balle, et Trèfle court très vite pour l’attraper.
Il saute haut, tourne en rond et aboie de joie.
Mila rit, elle est très contente.
Le soleil brille, les oiseaux chantent…
C’est toujours un bon moment pour Mila et son chien.
Ils sont très heureux quand ils jouent dans le parc.
Every morning, Mila and Clover are at the park.
They love going for walks together.
Mila throws a ball, and Clover runs very fast to catch it.
He jumps high, spins in circles, and barks with joy.
Mila laughs, she is very happy.
The sun is shining; the birds are singing…
It’s always a good time for Mila and her dog.
They are very happy when they play in the park.
Aujourd’hui, Mila et Trèfle entendent un bruit étrange :
Cuic cuic !
C’est un bébé oiseau, il est tombé de son nid et il est seul sur le sol.
Mila s’approche doucement et le prend dans ses mains.
Il est tout petit et il tremble un peu.
Mila décide de l’aider et de retrouver sa maman.
Trèfle suit Mila, il regarde autour de lui.
Ils cherchent dans les arbres, mais ils ne voient pas de nid.
Ils regardent aussi dans les buissons, mais ils ne trouvent rien.
Mila est inquiète.
Où est la maman de ce petit oiseau ?
Today, Mila and Clover hear a strange noise:
‘Cuckoo!’
It’s a baby bird; it’s fallen out of its nest and is alone on the ground.
Mila approaches gently and takes it in her hands.
It’s very small and trembling a little.
Mila decides to help it and find its mother.
Clover follows Mila; he looks around.
They search the trees, but they don’t see a nest.
They also look in the bushes, but they find nothing.
Mila is worried.
Where is this little bird’s mother?
Soudain, Trèfle aboie fort. Ouaf ouaf!
Il voit le nid de l’oiseau, il est caché derrière un grand arbre.
Mila est contente et caresse le chien.
Elle monte sur une petite échelle et elle dépose l’oiseau dans son nid.
La maman de l’oiseau arrive et elle chante une belle chanson pour dire merci à Mila et Trèfle.
Ils sont très heureux.
Suddenly, Clover barks loudly. Woof woof!
He sees the bird’s nest—it’s hidden behind a big tree.
Mila is happy and pets the dog.
She climbs a small ladder and gently places the bird back in its nest.
The baby bird’s mom arrives and sings a beautiful song to thank Mila and Clover.
They are very happy.

Elle regarde Trèfle et elle lui dit :
— Merci, tu es mon meilleur ami.
Trèfle remue la queue et saute de joie.
La petite fille est très heureuse d’avoir un ami comme Trèfle.
Mila and Clover go back home, happy about their adventure.
Mila thinks about the day and smiles.
She looks at Clover and says:
— Thank you, you’re my best friend.
Clover wags his tail and jumps with joy.
The little girl is very happy to have a friend like Clover.
