Where is my rabbit?
Martin a un lapin blanc. Il s’appelle Neige.
Martin adore son lapin.
Ils jouent souvent ensemble dans le jardin de leur maison.
Ce matin, Martin dit :
— Toi et moi, on va jouer avec mon ballon dans le jardin.
Martin et Neige s’amusent dans le Jardin.
Le garçon lance son ballon, mais il tombe dans un buisson.
Martin has a white rabbit. His name is Snow.
Martin loves his rabbit.
They often play together in the garden of their house.
This morning, Martin says:
— You and me, we’re going to play with my ball in the garden!
Martin and Snow have fun in the garden.
The boy throws his ball, but it falls into a bush.
Neige va chercher le ballon mais il ne revient pas.
— Où est mon lapin? dit Martin.
Il appelle Neige, il cherche Neige. Mais Neige n’est plus là.
Martin va chercher sa maman.
— Maman, maman je ne vois plus Neige !
— Ne t’inquiète pas, je vais t’aider à trouver ton lapin.
Snow goes to get the ball, but he doesn’t come back.
« Where is my rabbit? » says Martin.
He calls Snow, he looks for Snow. But Snow is gone.
Martin goes to find his mom.
« Mom, Mom, I can’t see Snow anymore! »
« Don’t worry, I’m going to help you find him. »
Martin et sa maman cherchent dans le jardin, dans la cuisine, sous le lit, derrière la porte. Mais le lapin n’est plus là!
Martin a très peur.
D’un seul coup, il entend un petit bruit.
— Écoute le bruit maman ! C’est lui, je pense que c’est mon Lapin !
Martin court en direction du bruit…
Martin and his mom look in the garden, in the kitchen, under the bed, behind the door. But the rabbit is still gone!
Martin is very scared.
Suddenly, he hears a little noise.
« Listen to the sound, Mom! It’s him, I think it’s my rabbit! »
Martin runs toward the noise…
Il arrive dans le jardin et il voit Neige! Ouf…
Neige joue avec leur ballon et… un autre lapin, un lapin tout gris !
— Il veut juste un copain ! dit Martin content.
Le lapin gris s’appelle Nuage.
He arrives in the garden, and he sees Snow! Phew…
Snow is playing with their ball and… another rabbit, a completely grey rabbit!
« He just wants a friend! » says Martin happily.
The grey rabbit’s name is Cloud.
Maintenant, Martin, Neige et Nuage sont amis.
Le lapin blanc et le lapin gris jouent ensemble tous les jours.
Martin dit à sa maman :
— C’est bien d’avoir un copain pour moi, et un copain pour mon lapin !
Now, Martin, Snow, and Cloud are friends.
The white rabbit and the grey rabbit play together every day.
Martin says to his mom:
— It’s nice to have a friend for me, and a friend for my rabbit!
