Mon petit poisson

J’ai un petit poisson.

Il s’appelle Jojo. Jojo est orange et noir.

Il a une belle nageoire et une petite bouche.

Jojo aime nager dans son aquarium.

Chaque matin, il attend avec impatience parce qu’il a faim.

Jojo habite dans un petit aquarium.

Il est sur la table de ma chambre, juste à côté de ma fenêtre.

Dans l’aquarium, il y a de l’eau propre, un joli rocher et des plantes vertes.

Jojo aime se cacher derrière le rocher, surtout quand il y a du bruit. Il a un bel espace pour nager, et il est très content de sa maison.

Mais un jour, je regarde mon bocal…

Oh non ! Jojo n’est pas là ! Où est-il ?

Je regarde partout dans ma chambre : sous la table, sous mon lit, derrière la chaise… Je ne vois rien.

Je suis très inquiet parce que je ne sais pas où il est.

Where is he?

I look everywhere in my room: under the table, under my bed, behind the chair… I don’t see anything.

I’m very worried because I don’t know where he is.

Soudain, j’entends un petit bruit… plouf plouf.

Je m’approche de l’aquarium et je vois Jojo !

Il se cache derrière le rocher.

Quel coquin !

Il voulait jouer à cache-cache !

Je rigole et je suis tellement content.

Suddenly, I hear a little noise… plop plop.

I walk over to the aquarium, and I see Jojo!

He is hiding behind the rock.

What a little rascal!

He wanted to play hide and seek!

I laugh, and I’m so happy.
